TackBar — Sail. Debrief. Learn.

Built for the conversation right after sailing.

Compare what happened on the water.
Talk it through together.
Learn while it’s still fresh.

Supports Vakaros CSV/VKX and standard GPX tracks.

Explore TackBar

Explore a real sailing session with two demo sailors. Replay the session, compare the tracks and see how TackBar supports the debrief.

TackBar Session Viewer comparing Demo Sailor 1 and Demo Sailor 2 during a selected upwind and downwind interval.

The demo is based on real sailing tracks. Direct personal identifiers and boat identifiers were removed and the date was shifted.

The conversation starts after sailing.

Where did we separate?
Who gained on the beat?
Was it speed, position or tactics?

TackBar supports the conversation.
It doesn’t replace it.

Go sailing, then share your supported activity with:

share@tackbar.eu

If this is your first track, we’ll contact you at the email address you used to send it with the pilot and privacy information so you can decide whether you want to take part.

Sending a track is not consent. TackBar may receive and process the activity while your consent is pending, but it will not be shared in TackBar Sessions until you explicitly confirm your participation.

See the step-by-step Vakaros sharing guide.

An experimental, voluntary pilot. Current pilot support: Vakaros CSV/VKX and standard GPX tracks.
Vakaros: .csv, .csv.gz, .vkx, .vkx.gz. GPX: plain .gpx.
